I can see how this welded support (cardboard template in picture) attaches to the wheel well in the sent pictures but not sure how it attaches to the rear of the car (shown in blue)

Ciao Brian, referring to the attached the "empty space" between the two walls continue, turning in the corner, up to the wheel mudguard.

The parts catalog shows a tool strap assembly attached to a baseplate and the reference pictures of a trunk show a strap assembly fastened to the trunk floor. What is the correct assembly configuration for the tool mount and does anyone have detailed information of this assembly to replicate the components (strap, strap bracket, and fastener size and location)?

Hi bmw8890, I've this assembly on my Flavia berlina (sedan) but in the convertibile it is missing and neither the fixing holes are present; Moreover the spare part catalogue references are for 815.00 only.

However I appreciate it is useful tool, if you wish to add to your convertibile I'll post some details in the next days.

Thanks grifo63 for the info on the tool kit mount.

Also need information on the rear exhaust mounting bracket that is welded to the U frame under the trunk, type/shape, dimension, and location relative to the rear leaf spring mount. Is the bracket similar to the other exhaust mounting brackets?
