I have learnt a lot the last 25 years with fulvia´s. And i can only say if you restore one :
Do it directly right.
You will get a fantasic car with brilliant drivability. I drove at this weekend the final setup of
the Monte Coupe ( with 42 Solex ) and I can´t stop smile.

And it is not so much more work to do it right. You have to clean the parts in general to eliminate rust.
If you do that, the parts work include the new surface properly with out any rework later.

They will run for sure and should not be a museum car. And by the way i have to make a lot of compromise.

Regard´s Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Continuing on the thought of doing it right... what are your thoughts on welding procedure? considering that most of the panels are 1mm thick...

I have done it with spot welding and inertgas ( MIG -welding ) works good.
Only the welding at the alu skin has to be done later with WIG.
Therefor ( and for other activities ) i have bought a new welding equipment.
Should arrive this week.

tanti saluti
