Please do me one last favour: could you give me some names and phone numbers at Lancia's that you were dealing with? I'd like to verify a couple of things. Why? I have reasonable doubts about your story and I'd like to countercheck it. the keyword being urban legend.

Oh, and one more thing: if you seriously recommend buying the Alfa159 instead of a Delta, how do you wish to be taken seriously and/or be trusted for the rest of your writings?

You state that I do not know what driving a car means. That may well be. Well, in the light of your recommendation, it so seems as if you wouldn't even know what actually is a car, to start with.

However, thanks in advance from all of the forum for your help in this matter.

1) tendina parasole anteriore bloccata
2) coperchio portaoggetti del bracciolo bloccato
3) plancia rumorosa
4) rumorosità freni insopportabile

Una tragedia che si perpetra....

Point well taken, no sweat. However I will very much appreciate being given some contacts at Lancia's in this matter. Until then, I simply don't believe it: this must have happened to other Delta-owners if these deficiencies were endemic to the system.

The problem is, there aren't any around.

Now, just imagine someone bumps into this discussion who is interested in buying a Delta. If he reads this, and none of it turns out to be true, there's one potential buyer scared off for good. I would say this harms Lancia's business, but that is their problem.

On the other hand, if all of this is correct, I myself and all other Delta owners have huge interest in knowing about its veracity and the details, because a case like this will considerably strengthen our position of negotiation if similar defects show up on our cars.

I therefore shall from time to time put in a reminder, here. If I get no answer after a certain period of time, say a week from now, I shall contact the competent Lancia Departments and put a copy of the e-mail or letter in here, if this is OK with you. And their answer, of course, when it comes.

io mi fido di + di frick62. Era un pò che non interveniva, ma i suoi interventi erano sempre stati più che seri, fossero essi di lode o di critica. Ritengo che se ha qualcosa di cui lamentarsi , lo faccia solo perchè ha problemi veri. IMHO.

io sono nuovo normalmente uso il forum per la thema.
Cmq possiedo un alfa romeo una 166 ed è uno schifo assoluto tutti i problemi esistenti sulla terra sono i suoi.
Considera che in un anno ci percorro 200000 Km per lavoro problemi di tenuta e di sospensione dal primo giorno rifiniture zero e rumori da qualsiasi parte della macchina. dal cruscotto ,dai sedili dagli sportelli e la cosa piu antipatica si bloccano continuamente le chiusure.
Dopo questa piccola parentesi in alfa romeo ritorno in lancia con una bella thesis o una delta twin turbo non so ancora, ma le ho provate tutte e due e rispettano di molto i parametri Lancia e considera che la delta dovrebbe prendere il posto della Lybra e secondo me è di molto superio di quest'ultima.
Ovviamente tutte le auto hanno i loro problemi le serie 1 e 3 della bmw con il 4 cilindri diesel hanno una miliardata di problemi dalle turbine agli iniettori, addirittura qualcuna soffre di testate, comunque sia quando entri in bmw per gli iniettori di un serie 3 con meno di 2000 euro non te la cavi.
