The 818 302 head started production after 1970. It was also delivered as spare for S1 cars. What you have to check is the mounting of the rev counter pickup.
If that hole is closed, then either you machine it to accept the sender or look for another head.

The rear is concave. The thicker side of the reflectors should face inward.
