Re: 'Sudden' change in oil pressure
Perhaps check the wire on the oil pressure sender by the oil filter it may have come adrift or is loose, did you change the oil filter when you changed the oil? (I assume the correct oil quantity had been used, check the dipstick?)

I did look to fit it in situ but it looks to be difficult or impossible, I am interested to see if anyone ...

Re: Wet spark plug. Carb problem?
I would recommend the use of an accurate rpm meter, my S2 with Dellortos has been on a rolling road this week and the rev counter overheads by 200 rpm, now nicely set up and smooth with 91 bhp after some recent engine work.

Re: Oil temperature gauge S2 Montecarlo
The VDO sender is M14 x 1.5 thread - 150c, their part number is (was) 323.805/003/001 if you want to fit that brand.

Re: Oil temperature gauge S2 Montecarlo
I removed the blanking plug in my 1.3 S2 base, and fitted an appropriate VDO sender after checking the thread size and fitted an auxiliary VDO oil temperate gauge, leaving the clock in place.

Re: Overheating Fulvia 1.3
Hi Tom, I would be tempted to remove the radiator out of the car and get it professionally flushed and tested, it may need a new core if badly blocked. Does the heater work ok, you might have an air lock in the system. Neil

Re: Fulvia 1600 HF Fanalino Corsa

You would be most welcome to attend the the Surrey LMC meeting with a number of Fulvia owners in regular attendance on the 3rd Thursday of the month (evening) at the The Abinger Hatch, near Dorking, let me...
