Hallo Federbruchfreunde,
bei mir waren diesmal die beide Federn vorne gebrochen : Bruch jeweils 2 x der letzten Windung, also in 3 Stück. Es ist mich wieder aufgefallen das die Federn unten brechen wo die von einem Gummi geschutzt sind. Das Wasser fließt im Gummi und kann wegen der Gummi nicht mehr trocknen sondern nur die Federn rosten lassen.
Die Federn habe ich selber getauscht :
- Kosten : 336 Euro für alle original Lancia Teile Federn und zubehöre (z.B. sieh Bilder)
- Fazit : Thesis steht auf dem Vorderachse wieder hoch, Skyhook reagiert deutlich viel besser und den zu negativen Radsturz ist halbiert.
Die Federn beeinflüssen das Fahrkomfort und die SICHERHEIT !!! Bitte überprüfft ihre Federn !

Thanks very much for warning
this is also the reason why Im periodically painting the whole suspension parts with a mixture of diesel and oil (2:5). Oil lubricates rubber and protects it from the summer or engine heating drying and from the salt in the winter. Oil is preventing the steel to rust, too. Plus eliminates well known crunching noise and in my case even knocking. Diesel helps oil to get deeper in to the rubber. (NEVER use used oil, it contains carbon which is eating the rubber; using silicone spray is in comparison shorter lasting, silicone spray is more suitable for door rubbers - can last one third of the year) Theres nothing to lose by doing this and after Ive tried it once and saw how is driving my car more smoother I know I must repeat it again, maybe next weekend
This tip gave me my friend who has a taxi company with 24 mercedeses E-class. Hes doing it on each. One more advice, never do it before exterior car cleaning, I made this mistake and all work was gone
Thats why Im gonna do it next weekend, this weekend I will have a paint Ive ordered to paint small rocks scratches and than after siliconing door rubbers and water cleaning Im keen on conserving it before winter - two dry paraffin layers.

Hi,
I was not thinking about making such pictures as I thought its all clear enough, but no problem if you like. My paint hasnt arrived so all procedures are waiting. So than I can shoot some pictures. Even today Ive ordered new axial pipes (steering pipes) so thats another reason I havent done it yet. Ive already ordered a lanciathesis.eu domain so everything will be there right after I will have my own webserver, as I dont want someone else to have all our hard work.
