Volumex parts.

I have 'discovered' a source of second hand Volumex parts from two coupes, the cars are being broken by a scrapyard near London (quite a long way from me in Aberdeenshire, Scotland!!!). They have bonnets, doors, 2 engines etc. I havent tried to haggle too much with prices - I hope to find what I'm looking for a bit closer to home - but I'll pass on their telephone numbers to anyone interested. They are looking for £60 plus VAT for a bonnet, £200 plus VAT for a supercharger and so on, not cheap but fair enough I guess. I've broken a couple of cars and have some bits kicking around that you may want - I'm keen to trade.... i can be reached either by email or at home on 013398 85530, but be warned! I have seen the cars last week at Intapart near Daventry. The yard have had these cars in since late 2000 and most of the body panels seemed to be quite good. If anyone needs further info then I can elaborate further. I was, and still are looking for a Volumex Supercharger unit and thanks to you Hamish I bought one which is however only good for parts as it had collected rain water due to removal of the bonnet and manifolds. It's badly corroded inside and non operational. I am still looking for a blower if anyone can kindly help. Have carb/air intake asseblly free to anyone who can assist. Cheers.
