Finally the bushes to adapt the unit for 1600 have been made. An aluminium bush to increase the diameter of the shaft to fit the hole in the 1600 heads and a steel bush to convert the 10 mm spindle to 12mm for the 1600 gear wheel.

I also had plug wires made from high quality 8 mm silicon cable with stainless steel contacts, 90 degree terminals on the cap. The wires carry the numbers 1 through 4 on both ends and can be used on series 1 and series two with this electronic ignition and with the original ignition.

The picture below shows the unit with the cables.

Prices are:
ignition unit: 269 euro
conversion kit for 1600 engines: 15 euro
red 1.5 Ohm coil made by Beru: 42 euro
the black coil is no longer supported
set of plug wires: 75 euro

Note that the prices are excl VAT. For delivery inside Europe 19% VAT is added unless you provide me with a valid VAT number.

25 euro postage for ignition outside europe
25 euro postage for ignition plus coil inside europe
40 euro postage for ignition plus coil outside europe
postage for plug wires is zero if included with ignition.
