S1 oil cooler design/parts

1. Anyone with an S1 oil cooler or aftermarket alloy one please advise dimensions and hose length/threads to fit standard Oil Filter base.

Aim is to make a new one for race use only.

2. I have standard S1 oil filter housing without internals plus S2 (non oil cooler) base. Can the former be made to work with new oil cooler without a thermostat inside?
