Claire, although U R writing to everyone, I feel that in your message there R greetings to someone who risked your life in France this summer,

By the way, R U 1 of the women Huib has sit, kneel or stand in the trunk (boot) of a Fulvia to weigh it down ?
With your compact-size you'd fit but with your minimum-weight, he might as just fill the trunk with feathers.
Enjoy your Holidays & don't spend all your off-work-time this month/year playing with your car !
Its too cold to crash down hills on your bike or swim with the dog (shown on / in your website, so you'll have
to find something less exciting to occupy yourself, until better weather comes !!!

John, you're right I don't think my weight will help.
But... A while ago, Huib put me in the trunk of my Fulvia and closed the lid!
After that, he sprayed liters of water over the trunk...

... I got wet and located the problem

I will reveal our secret, John, if you promise not to tell anyone.
I go live in the boot with a box of cigars and a bottle of grappa while Claire mounts the springs and torques all the bolts.

After torquing many bolts and doing several gearboxes Claire's shoulderwidth has grown 4cm (as you can see below) and her weight 15%. All muscle, mind you. A few more gearboxes, subframes and rear springs and she will have her turn of sitting in the boot.
