S1 shock absorbers

Does anyone know if there are shock absorbers manufactured by Gabriel, Armstrong or Monroe which would be suitable for an S1. (Front and rear)

Monroe makes shocks for Fulvia. I don't know about the others

I bought Monroe shocks for the Fulvia many years ago from Mike Kristick. In retrospect I should have gone for the extra few dollars and bought the Koni's (I think) that he also had for the Fulvia. I later replaced the Monroes with the shocks sold on the Viva-Lancia site and I'm very happy with them.

If you need the Monroe shocks let me know; I might have kept the model number in my records. By the way that was for a Series 1 car.

Hi, I would appreciate it if you could send me model numbers, but I need for a series 2.

Another alternative is Spax - pt numbers are:
G3312 Front
G3318 Rear

They are £100 a pair

See here for a long discussion on them:

Today same shock serves all Fulvia's, S1 and S2, berlina, coupe, Zagato. I am not too impressed by the Monroe's either but they are low cost and usually available.

I would recommend AVO - very helpful UK based staff and superb shocks for S1

The Monroe shocks are their Radial-Matic line. The front are R2062 while the rear are R3230.

I'd recommend the original decarbons!

I think they can be bought on this site.
