Go to Bacci Romano http://www.bacciromano.com/ this specialised company sells gearsets for both 4 and 5 speed boxes in close ratio versions.
Re: 818.740 gearbox parts
Thank you.
I already know them very well as I bought them a sequential gearbox for my racing Delta Integrale.
I noticed this gearkit, but you also have to change the final ratio, otherwise you have like 228 km/h top speed.

Re: 818.740 gearbox parts
The final ratio will not change with the close ratio kit. This is determined by the differential (coppia conica)
So if you want to have a lower topspeed you can fit the differential of the Fulvia berlina SII which is 10:41 compaired to 11:43 of the 1600 SII box. If you want an even lower final drive Romano has them all. Starting from 7:41 which gives you a top speed of 125Kmh at 7000Rpm.

Yes, you are right and I didn´t use the correct words in English.
I wanted to say the same thing.
The optimal differential for the close ratio from Andrea& Giulio is the 8/41.
