LANCIA HERITAGE ANNUAL RALLY, OCT 3, 4, 5 2008

Unread post by LANCIA-HERITAGE »

The 2008 Lancia Heritage Rally will be based in a very cosy hotel situated just by the river Loire, near Chambord, where participants will gather for a welcome dinner Friday evening.

On Saturday morning, the starting signal will be given at around 8 o’clock from the hotel private car park for a 200 km / 125 miles trip across forests abounding in game, picturesque landscapes and some of the famous Châteaux de la Loire such as Chambord and Cheverny. Participants will be invited to pay a visit to one of the oldest of them complete with medieval kitchen garden, before having lunch in an other château entitrely booked on that occasion, including the grounds.

In the afternoon, the route will follow the river Loire (with open views over Chaumont and Amboise) up to Vouvray where the cellar of a wine-producing farm will be visited and back to the hotel to take a rest or have a drink in the lounge or a short walk in the hotel grounds before the traditional Rally Cocktail Party and Dinner.

Sunday morning the starting signal will not be given before 9.30 a.m. and off to a 70 km / 40 miles trip across the Sologne and some of its old villages before the final stop at the Château de La Ferté Saint Aubin where lunch will be served.

Hopefully, Arnaud Belloni, Lancia France CEO will attend the Rally in the new Lancia Delta.
