spark plug alternative for 1600

Hello,
what are the references of spark plugs that would give good result on a standard 1600, instead of the original champion R61 ?
mine are quicly prone to be wet and dirty on short trips, i would like to try another kind to check.

Dear Thibaut,

Your best option is NGK D8-EVX, obtainable from motor-cycle shops and some motor factors. These have precious metal electrodes and are quite expensive, but provided your engine is in good condition they will last for many, many miles. If you cannot find these then buy NGK D8-EA, these are easy to find and are quite satisfactory.
