THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
mr. demel (new fiat-ceo) last week in geneve:
there will be no new FULVIA
there will be no new DELTA
LYBRA ends soon in 2005
only ypsilon and musa (urghhh!) will remain as fashionalble tiny little girly-cars with max. 100 hp and 1400 ccm ... *lol* what is the alternative? stilo? (urghhh) the young miss fashioncar alfa 147 (urghhh) alfa 156 ( a beloved old fashioned marea version) there is no alternative at all ! finito e basta !
so this ist definetly the end of a 100 year old cultural traditon of making the best italien cars ever.
its so cruel ...

Re: THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
....... right, this will be the really end of the LANCIA tradition. You will see soon....
the Germans (incl Demel) never understood the Lancia culture, but now, they
are deciding the future of Lancia! Really perverse!

Re: THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
what is the end of lancia? i not understand..please someone tell me the story.. i think lancia have a bright future in asian market espeacially in south east asia. the demanding of continental car here had growth in the past 10 years.. but Lancia must built a RHD car to penetrate into asian market.. that is my suggestion..
I really want to know when they will be able to make RHD.
Re: THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
??????????????????
What did the CEO say????????????????
What did the CEO say????????????????
Re: THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
About 10 years ago Lancia stopped making RHD cars. I agree, this is one of the most stupid decisions made in Lancia history.
Re: THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
"The end of Lancia" is NOT a term the world should or will accept.
If the 'powers that be' do not recognise the value of a 100 year old cultural and automotive icon, they must wake up to the obvious indignation and disbelief now being levelled at them from around the globe.

Re: THIS IS THE END .... of LANCIA
Utterly appalling; why has FIAT appointed a philistine as CEO?
Isn't it realised that the FIAT group is custodian of an unbelievably rich heritage?
This kind of nonsense is similar to what we put up with in England with the dreadful Stokes and British Leyland.
