A short time ago i asked about the value of a 1.3s of 1973 vintage in a barn.
the car is complete however it needs complete restoration could .somebody please tell me what a good one is worth & how much a restoration would cost.I am not sure how much to offer for it.

if it is very rusty I would think it almost worthless .If it has all the typical fulvia rust problems it will be a very big undertaking to restore it PROPERLY. I say properly as many cars are superficially reconstructed but the restorers fail to understand the structure and make fundamental mistakes in either not going in deep enough to erradicate problems or cutting corners with the repairs. I would personally be especially wary of the car if there are signs of previous work unless you can be sure that it has been done right as this is often difficult to undo better if the car is full of holes but 100% straight and original. As regards final value you will never get back the time and money spent you must only take it on if you are serious and doing it for love . You would be wise to get someone who is familiar with Fulvias to look at the car before you make any offers but really I would say you are talking a few hundred pounds tops.....without seeing the car can't say.

Wreck in the barn, l have for sale a Fulvia 1972 tax free, MOT 6 months, alloy panels, in fair condition needing repair n/s door not to bad, £950 no offers can supply alloy wheels for £300 Total £1250 and you can drive this car away.
