Gelukkig mijn computer doet het weer. Wat een handicap.
Ik las dat er weer behoefte is aan een rit ergens in april of mei. Zou het leuk vinden om weer zoiets te organizeren. De rit vind dan plaats of in de Ardennen of in de Eifel. Wellicht wat ver weg voor menigeen. Vorig jaar werd geopperd dat er misschien ook de mogelijkheid bestaat dat indien iemand anders zich geroepen voelt om elders in den lande een rit te orgainzeren dit ook zou kunnen. Wellicht wat centraler voor menigeen.
Dus indien iemand het ook leuk zou vinden om ook op een of andere mooie locatie in Nederland een rit te orginizeren.........?
Bij geen gegadigden zal ik en Peter Sandheuvel weer een leuke rit en gezellig samenzijn orgainizeren.

Er zou inderdaad een soort van invaliditeitsuitkering moeten zijn als je pc de geest heeft gegeven, want je bent dan fameus sociaal gehandicapt.
Als je zin hebt in een leuke rit te organiseren; please be our guest! Ik denk dat diegene die er verleden jaar bij waren, best terug trek hebben in een ferme Limburg-Eifel-Ardennen-rit!
Een leuke rit in Friesland, waddeneilanden, bachten de kuppe (de Ijzervallei), Zeeuws Vlaanderen is natuurlijk ook best een topper! Ik denk dat elke Fulvist wel een aantal leuke plekjes aan mekaar kan rijgen voor een leuke fulvia-rit in zijn/haar buurt. Wie zich geroepen voelt, steekt zijn polleke in de lucht! (Of drukt op enter)

Ron's Fulvia meeting is absoluuuuut voor herhaling vatbaar, maar wegens werkomstandigheden helaas geen tijd om te organiseren..... wel om mee te rijden

Aangezien mijn motor toch nog 4 cilinders heeft dat bleek na een tweede test blijf ik natuurlijk met mijn blauw beestje rijden. Nu nog het koeswerk een beetje bijspijkeren en we kunnen er weer helemaal tegen.

At the last 2 Benelux Tours there was no "German/French " Fulvia participation (how sad) ; but perhaps many German/French Fulvisti were concerned "how will we speak to the others? ", not realizing that Fulvisti all speak the same Language !!!
& so they stayed home. Understandable if home is Munich or Berlin or Bordeaux

A Fulvia (Flavia etc) Meeting with (perhaps) not so much emphasis on driving/tearing/screaming around the lovely countryside, since arriving in SW Germany/NW France Region is, in itself, a lot of driving for almost everyone traveling from outside of this corner of Europa.

Organising an event like the Dutch Flemisch Fulvia tour is a great challenge.
Chapeau for Huib and Bart, who were/are the initiators.
I think the goal is having some 20 equipes(40 people) in the event.
Draw a circle around Ciney, Belgian Ardennes, as starting location.(past two years)
This limits for most people the possibility of joining the event. (exceptions will prove the statement, Last year we had a UK participation. Perhaps in 2010 we will have an Aussie too.)
I agree with you, in the circle, south west of Germany and Northern France are included, but give few participants. Perhaps the advertising for the event should be different to engage more Fulvisti from those regions. (perhaps a sweepstake with a few bottles of Grappa as prices will enlarge the number of participants)
We will see what next year will bring. Untill now, my partner and I , have enyoyed each event very much.

a) I know Fulvia isn't Gamma & visa versa........but both are great Lancia.
b) 2 years ago at a N. Euro Lancia Gamma Club Meeting, which was attended by a # of UK, 1x German, 1x Amarican & many Benelux Gammisti,GHD Ruud of Zoetemeer, NL commented :
"too bad we can't organize a "Mega-Gamma-Meeting" with Gamma from all over Europe".
Ruud has organized many many "super" Gamma Meetings....but ...due to the NW Europe location the cars came from NW & N. Central Europe
c) thereafter I contacted the few SW German Gammisti that I knew & a few Italian's from the Italian Club; who all, as it turns out, knew each other quite well & loved the idea of a "Gamma-only - in Italy" (of course) Mega-Meeting !!.
They quickly got the ball rolling & now there will be a Mega-Gamma Meeting in Torino in April 09.
4) the UK Club has spread the word...even rescheduling their UK Spring Meeting in Torino.
5) The Ital-Club has coordinated a 3 day program that is "short on Gamma Driving around / in Torino" but long on cultural & touristy-things (do not forget that from UK, Denmark or Greece, Torino is far far away, so many Gammisti will drive 1/2 way or more across Europe just getting to Torino.
5) various Lancia Clubs have published the Meeting & it seems that it will be well attended & affordable.
6) gas prices have fallen in the last months; so everyones fear of paying more in fuel-bills than for hotels & meals have vanished.
So, Gamma are still not Fulvia, but certainly an "inner Europa Fulvia Meeting" can be planned ... or at least discussed...in a location (not Torino) that would make it plausible for CH, F, UK, Benelux, German ad infinitum Fulvisti could attend....without driving thousands of miles.
Just a thought...for sometime (soon) in the future !!! ??? Fulvia (& Gamma John)
