I bit overdue but if you are still looking for a 826.100 engine (2.8 litre 3C Weber DNL 35 setup), I have one available.

Engine is in my basement and we have it since 30+ years as a spare engine for our 3C GT 2.8.
Since the Flaminia is sold I dont need the engine anymore. It came out of a crashed GT of which I still have the damaged hood as a "souvenir". We stored the engine in a dry place, now and then we turn the flywheel to keep it free and spray oil in the cilinders.

It is a 826.100 2.8 engine but fitted afterwards with a single solex carb (this was less fuzzy for daily use) but I have the rare triple carb manifold with the 3 double Webers. The engine just needs a tune and service to run with the Solex carb. The 3C carbs need servicing (which is normal after 30 years on the shelf). Flaminia engines, and especially 2.8's are bulletproof engines, very strong and reliable.

I will be totally honest. I would clean and tune the engine and see how it goes. I cannot guarantee that the headgaskets are still fresh etc, but that js common sense. The engine components are all basically very sound.

Concerning the price... honestly I don't know but some professional companies ask as much as 6500 € for the GT/Sport manifold which is the price to pay for rarity. A SuperSport manifold with carbs is much rarer than the GT/Sport manifold and thus even more expensive.

I planned to remove it from the basement anyway and one of these days I could send you pictures even if you know what a Flaminia engine looks like. I could send you pics tomorrow evening, if you give me your email address.

I also have the Supersport manifold and carbs if interested. Shipping the engine is no problem. I can have the engine boxed in a tailormade seaworthy wooden case to ship it worldwide. I have already sold such carbs and other parts that are now on a light green Flaminia Sport (google images and you will see it) in the United States.

Kind regards,

Jean
