Tire Replacement Alternatives

Unread post by Steven »

Does anyone have any recommendations on replacement tires for the GT, or modern wheel alternatives? I need this chassis to roll ASAP and don't want to spend alot of $.

Any input is appreciated.

I agree. The aesthetics of the Flaminia--particularly the Touring with its large round wheel arches--are dependent upon the use of the original wheels, hub caps and trim rings. All of which means you have to stay with the original tire size.

The newly made alloy rims (ex Tecnomagnesio) are made for modern tire sizes and they fit tha Aurelia and Flaminia. In my opinion they look like horrible on any Lancia but they're the only solution if you don't want to fit Michelin 165 x 400 tires. (The rims aren't cheap but in the end...)
