Proposal for Fulvia spider

Hi Huib,

Did the Fulvia Spider really exist? If so, it would be interesting to know something about it...

As far as I know it didn't exist.
The car on the photo was showed in Geneva in 1980. The body was built by Felber. Price 45.000 swiss francs.

All the books I have on Lancia identify that car as a Beta. I notice the wheels look like Beta wheels.

Felber did both a fulvia and a beta, the one based on the beta is much better proportioned than the fulvia one which in my opinion looks like a badly done kitcar. I think you are right that the picture huib has posted was beta based

Has any one seen the new lancia fulvietta. Got a copy of auto express today and was shocked to see the car in full colour ( red of course).

I actually think the photo Huib posted is not the Beta based car, i have two press photos of that car (annotated Geneva - Felber) but it looks slightly different, so i would guess this is either the Fulvia based car or more than 2 were built.

I will see if i can scan the press photos and post these (they are only b&w sadly).

if you look closely at huib's picture I think you will find that it has beta wheeels which will not (of course) fit fulvia hubs.

Well it is definitely not the Fulvia based car (it looks really horrible), it appears much more like the Beta based car of which Huib put up a pic.

But will check the pictures as far as i can recall there are some slight styling differences to the front (does anyone know whether red shows as white in a black & white photo).

as i understand it the front of the fulvia based car has been altered at some time it was originally a lot longer, red shows as a quite light colour in B+W.
