Kappa and electrical/electronic problems

Does anyone know of problems with the electronics that could be caused by using a mobile phone in the car?
Lancia (Fiat) specifically states in the manual that it is strongly advised to use the external antenna.
With my previous car, a 3.0V6 sedan, I had problems with the airco which is controlled by the bordcomputer. New computer is very expensive.
With my current car, a 3.0V6 coupe, I also faced some problems with the fuel gauge and with the windscreen wipers (?).
In both cases the phone was/is not connected to the external antenna.
Car radio builtin station and also a (not official) Lancia garage did not not hear of such problems.
