Tracing Colour Codes

Hello,

I've just bought a V6 Auto Thema (Swiss Import) and it has lost its paint code label from the boot lid.

Can anyone help me to positively identify the paint code from the chassis number or any of its chassis plate information?

Its a dark plum / aubergine red metallic colour. I know its not Coventry Red, its a much deeper shade.

ask your local fiat garage to do a vehicle search for you (I forget the proper term for it) on their computer connection to Fiat it will give you full spec. including the extras fitted when new and which dealer it was originally issued to as well! ...that is of course if you can find someone helpful enough to do it for you in a fiat garage.....I presume they can still do it they did one for me a good few years ago

If you put the chassis number in the EPER system it will tell you the original colour including the interior etc.

Hi,

I'm told by a good reliable source that the paint code is 139f (Metallic Bordeaux).

Can any other Thema owners be bothered to pop open their bootlids to have a look to confirm that this is a code that appears on Themas.

Its a very deep red that's almost purple.
