Which fluid for power assisted steering on thema S1

Few months ago I changed oil in my power assisted steering circuits. I used some ESSO ATF oil of Dexron II type. After that my power steering rack's boots was full of fluid and I kept adding remainings of ESSO oil. I thought to replace the rack. After spending ESSO oil I bouht some ATF type A Suffix A oil and kept adding. When I spent about 0.6l of ATF type A Suffix A, the leaking stoped. Since that I did not add a drop of fluid. So what I should do? Is the last fluid bad for the sealings of the rack, making them puffy.
