Can anyone confirm that a 1994 thema uses a H4 headlight. One place they said it is a R2 and I got confused.

Well, my old S2 used H4 but then i read somewhere that S3 is different because they are using R2 (and i have never heard about that standard). The reason why i am asking is that i am considering a HID conversion.

Hello,
My S3 has H4 and H1 bulbs - however it is a UK car with lights that dip to the left.
In fact I recently replaced one headlamp with one from an S2 car and it was exactly the same.
I just looked in two catalogues and cannot see an R2 bulb listed.
