123 distributor

Unread post by dads red truck »

I just purchased a 123 distributor for my '72 S2 1,3S. This distributor (Lancia-4-R-V) has a metal tube on the side of it where one would connect a vacuum advance hose. The original distributor doesn't have a vacuum advance hose leading to it. So my question is what do i do with this tube?

Attach a short hose to it and blank it off? Connect it to (where)? Other? Can Huib or other answer?

Many thanks,
Joe

I do hope Lancisti will buy the 123 distributors from this site. I have invested quite a bit in developing the units and providing support. I hope to be able to continue doing so.

Just leave the vacuum connection open. It will then see atmospheric pressure thus zero pressure differential.

There is a donate button at the right top of this page. It might say "doneren" which is "Donate" in Dutch. It takes you to Paypal.

rest assured that if a distributor was in my future it would come from this site. the advice and guidance you provide is well worth the wait for overseas shipping.
thanks for all you do,
