Seatbelt warning light

The seatbelt warning light in my Thema Turbo LX 1994 is always on. Does anyone know the most common reason for this?

I've had the same problem, turned out to be the swhitch in the seatbelt slot (or whatever you call that thing where you click the belt in). I was trying to figure out how it worked and tried to open it, and while poking in it with a small screwdriver, the light started to go on and off, since then it worked again. I guess that was just plain luck, it was the easiest repair I've ever done on that car!
