Hi,
just looking around for an 8.32. Any tips what to look for (and what not to look for) ?
What is the maximum kms the car may have been done. I know 200000km is just "driven in" for a Mercedes, but I suppose a Thema 8.32 with 200000km is not in super state anymore. How at 100000 ?
Many thanks,
Sandy

Re: Buying advise for 8.32
hello,
i think 100.000 km is normally no problem-but all depends on how the previous
owner used the car !
dont forget:
a ferrari-engine is not for every-day use, engine should be warmed up before
driven faster and its important not to forget to change the different belts
(well,its not cheap, but necessary)

Re: Buying advise for 8.32
look at the french site, there is a Thema 8.32 for sale at Paris for 50000 FF, aprox 5000 Pounds
Re: Buying advise for 8.32
I have owned a 832 for about 5 years, and the car has driven 196000 km.
The enigne stills goes fine, but last year I had to take out the engine to change the belts. That gave me a huge cost
Recently I change the chock absorbers and the car is now doing great.
Good Luck

200k is not a problem; good maintenance is! Most important things to look for are (service) records, original parts used, oil pressure, rust around front/back windows and wheel arches. Also check general state of car.
