I have a 1993 16v Thema LS turbo, that all of a sudden, has developed a serious misfire. The car was fine untill I went to overtake someone then all of a sudden it started misfiring when I pushed the accelerator. Now it wont accelerate at all when I floor the throttle, it just goes very lumpy & misfires..........I also....as I have read in the other posts, have the mysterious intermittant injector warning light...!!
Any advise would be greatly appreciated......with thanks.

The best thing too start is too ckeck by a dealerchip the injection system witch error is there???, because you write that the warning light was on!!!!.Afterwards you can diceded what too do. When you give me the failer of the system than I can help you!!
I have also a F/L-tester of this sytem but I am in the Nederlands aand that is a litle to fare away for you

Something also to check is the injector capocitors, the 4 white long things at the back of the engine bay to the left of the engine, cam belt end. Someties the wires become coroded, or they start to break down. They can have a serious effect on the engine as the injectors won't fire proparly, or at all! Hope this is something else to look at, good luck.
