hello,
can anybody give me some hints about shock absorbers for a lancia thema ?
well, i had "kayaba" but for me they are too hard (for greek roads not comfortable
enough)
i would like the car to be quite sporty, (motorways/highways >100 mph )
but not to loose (much of) comfort.
Although i have heard negative opinions about "Gabriel" absorbers,
i had good experience with "Gabriel" absorbers in a Dedra.
On the other hand i was told to take "Boge" or "Sachs"
or "Monroe Sensatrac".
Is it worth the money to take Monroe Sensatrac ?
and does somebody have experiences with the other producers or knows
the differences ?
thanks a lot
Dakis

Re: Shock absorbers
Probably, the best compromise between sport and confort, will be
brought to you by the Monroe Sensatrac shock absorbers.
I'm very happy with mine!

Re: Shock absorbers
Hi
What model kayabas did you have, the monotube or what?
I'm looking for new and harder shocks for my series 1 turbo, I currently have sachs advantages and lowering springs, they don't seem to be too good together, on normal roads they are pretty hard, and the car doesn't tilt too much to the sides, but in bumpy roads or the likes the car seems like a dodge and flails up and down crazy.
The kyb kayabas seem to be quite hard and sporty from what I've heard, but I'd like to be sure before I invest a lot of money on new shocks.
Also recommend if you know some sporty and hard absorbers, the koni sports of course would be perfect but they cost a fortune
