G Coupe spoiler ?

Unread post by gamma as in goat »

dear rearder - please read Topic Re: 2.5ie engine (again) - last 4 or 5 entrys - for the following entry to make sense. Author: gamma as in goat (---.dip.t-dialin.net) Date: 05-11-07 21:49

Uummm, !!! I have 2 G-Coupes that I wouldn't mind "decently" improving - at a fair price. There may be other Gamma drivers that might be interested, unless you ( CJ) live / work in timbuktoo (two, to, tu ?).
I'm definatly going to also start a new topic, since this really should leave the ...2.5ie motor (again)... topic. Maybe 50 gG_Coupe Driversers will sign up & you'll have 1 new business going, supplying us all. Or maybe we will be stoned by other gamma drivers for futzing with Pin. Fari original - timeless design.
I read an article yesterday in the latest edition of the German Magazine "Auto, Motor & Sport" ,with photos of an body- kitted Aston-Martin. Not to wild - a body kit more in the spirit of an AM than, for example, a Greenwood Corvette. I liked the subtle front-end spoiler...not so drastic that "sleeping-policeman" speed bumps would be hazardous. I wasn't thinking of something that exotic; more along the lines of a reinforced small air-dam of (galvanized ? ) sheet-metal, without a "cut legs off at ankle on impact" gurney lip; pop-rivited onto original valance. My own sheet-metal cutting days are history by 25+ years & I have no equipment to even attempt anything like this Any comments from other Gamma - Heads ? Or am I just whistling in the dark .

Like the after market kits for the Alfa Romeos, 155, 156, 164 and 33 etc. Looks nice.
