It is with deep regret that we have been informed of the passing of Rene Hectl - born in AT; until recently living in CH; far too early & far too young. Rene of "famous Headgear (hats) Fame".

Rene was a long time Gammisti with unsurpassed knowledge of all things Gamma, he always willing to lend a hand or a recommendation, he was happy to drive miles for Gamma Meetings little or big.
I considered Rene a friend; we shared many a laugh ....often at 'our own expense'.

1 of Rene's Gamma is now in Japan, in the trusted hands of a Gamma friend.

I will think of Rene often; after all...for a few pennies (to cover fuel) Rene gave me a full (& I mean full) Poltrona leather S1 Gam Cpe interior - a very expensive one off production - in dark blue...which now resides in my Slvr Cpe.

OMG, so young............
