Si tratta di PIERO VALENZANO il WE 13-14 marzo 1954
The same car has won the SESTRIERE RALLY in febbraio 1954.

The team winning the 1954 Sestriere was Valenzano/Sposetti in a 2500cc B20. I think this was Luigi Valenzano? Was this one of the factory 3rd Series cars? Which one? 2247, 2252, 2254, 2268, 2273, 2283?

The Valenzano/Sposetti team came 4th in the February 1953 Sestriere in a car I think was B20-2077, registered TO-142843 - illustrated. B20-2077 was of course 2nd series but I understand was fitted with a 2500cc engine from new.

In April 1953, at the debut of the GT 2500, Gino Valenzano with Ramella came 2nd in the Giro di Sicilia in what must have been a factory 3rd Series?

Were there 3 Valenzano's, were they related? Quite confusing when no first name is given!

Luigi and Gino are the same man - my mistake. Piero was his brother. Google, Wikipedia....

Hi Paul,
the Valenzano/Ramella crew (Lancia corse team) run with the #2247 at the 1953 Giro di Sicilia, a III series works car .
The Valenzano/Sposetti crew (Racing club 19 team) run with a standard III series during the 1954 Rallye Sestriere and they won the GT category.
