I've a 1990 Dedra 2.0i.e. which seems to have a phantom wreaking havoc with
the climate control system ( no air-con, just climatronic ) Its an intermittent fault
but sometimes the climate control won't function at all unless the central locking is
used to lock all the doors, despite the fact that it leaves the fan motor engaged at a low speed !!
Anybody any ideas !!?
Electronic Climate Control
Re: Electronic Climate Control
Hi,
That is a weird thing but, cars have them
Although i can't give you a specific solution, a can tell you this: check all connections in all the systems that you think are envolved. You can buy a special electrical connections cleaning spray, and one by one, clean them all.
That could be a mal-function somewhere or simply bad connections. Low voltage systems have this efects on electrical connecions.
You don't have to do the all work in one day...take it easy and...
Good Luck and be patience!
