an alle thesis fahrer,

nach einem delta, dedra und einem lybra besitze ich nun auch seit einigen wochen einen 2003er 2.0 softturbo.
da bei diesem die gummilager der achsaufhängung schon grenzwertig sind, bräuchte ich möglichst einen kompletten satz von längs- bzw. querlenkern der vorder- und hinterachse mit verschlissenen gummilagern, um sie auszumessen, ein paar spezialwerkzeuge anfertigen zu lassen, sie instandzusetzen und dann einzubauen und zu testen.

wenn das so funktioniert, wie ich es mir vorstelle, könnte das problem der verschlissenen gummilager mit vertretbarem finanziellen aufwand dauerhaft gelöst werden. vor allem auch, was die nicht mehr lieferbaren bzw. exorbitant teuren fahrwerksteile angeht, weil ja die originale aufgearbeitet werden.
aus diesem grund wäre es auch angeraten, alle betroffenen ausgetauschten fahrwerksteile erstmal aufzuheben.

ich möchte euch deshalb bitten, mir alles anzubieten, was ihr eventuell an ausgetauschten teilen noch rumliegen habt, bzw. vielleicht kennt ja auch jemand eine werkstatt, die solche noch aus einem austausch da haben könnten?
einen obulus für material, die mühe und das porto natürlich würde ich bezahlen, bzw. im großraum ruhrgebiet würde ich die teile auch abholen.

ich werde euch über den erfolg bzw. mißerfolg berichten, so das alle thesis fahrer, auf die das gleiche problem früher oder später zukommt, davon profitieren können.

also, wer was anzubieten hat, bitte pn.
der kommende winter ist genau die richtige zeit für dieses projekt.

leider kann ich mit teilen noch nicht aushelfen, da mein fahrwerk
zur zeit intakt ist.

I have a supplier that is sending to me all silentblocks and unibals (made in italy) for the front axle and some for the rear one. I can buy the best pivot on the market and change all on my thesis arms. I know many people want it, so for example now I have an order for 4 thesises for complete front axle rebuild. So if your question is if it possible, yes it's possible, I had more choices of producing the rubber parts, but as the rubber has to have many specific parameters, I decided to buy the original one.
Now I'm working on my thesis parts e-shop (new and used) so you would be able to have a look than.

thank you for your informations and your kind offer of support. it's good to know, that there is at least one way to solve the worn-out rubber-problem.
but i have maybe a slightly different idea, and to test and develop it in practice, it would be very helpful to get some used,
broken rubber-axle-parts that someone has spare.
so i can repair and mount them in my own car one after the other to find out if it works.

Yes I have one spare set but I'm gonna rebuild it for myself and than just change as I can't afford to be a day without the car. I know there are many possible solutions, my friend can provide special teflon silentblocks, but it's a bit harder and that's the reason I want to use original one, to have all the rubber parameters as it should be. In other cars it's not so big problem, but in thesis the skyhook could react unexpectedly.
I can help you, the predicted hardness of original rubber is 55-60ShA (depending on position).

one of the points, why i want to try something different, is the following.
from the experiences with after-market rubber parts for the citroen ds i know that the rubber-quality nowerdays often is much worse than in the 60s and 70s. and maybe this is one reason, why the thesis axle rubber-parts are so week.
i supposed a shore-value of 60, so thank you for your confirmation.

erstens kommt es anders........

heute schicke ich meine defekten querlenker in den norden.
nach dem räder wechsel sind meine lenker aus den buchsen ausgerissen.
das fahren ab ca 100km h war nur noch hoppeln auf der vorderachse.
die teile waren auf lager in turin und sind pünktlich angeliefert worden.
heute morgen wurde noch ein standlicht birnchen gewechselt. das wars mal wieder.

Well, here are some news.
As we all know that the uniball is still produced as a spare part original from trw, it's no problem to buy it. We were missing only the silentblocks. The good news is that I've found the producer which is already producing them (have some silents from him here on the table) and I wrote him a message about letting us some pricelist, delivery time etc.
I will keep informing you.

gibt es zwischenzeitlich eine Lösung oder Bezugsquelle für die vorderen Querlenker. Bei meinem Thesis sind nun auch die auf dem angehängten Bild gezeigten Gummibuchsen (rechte und linke Seite) ausgeschlagen und fällig für den Austausch.
