HPE headlamps for MOT

Is there anybody with an HPE who can advise on cutting the Headlamp dip etc to comply with the MOT test in the Uk.Perhaps an image of where to put tape on the lens? Thanks

Simon if you are very ambitious you can fit beam benders internally to do the job but it is a right fiddly job (involving cutting holes with a dremel, wooden spoons and black silicone sealant!!!!!!) and they need renewing about every 12 months due to yellowing and going brittle) a less aesthetic solution is to put them on the outside but they look crap!!!....and gather lots of dirt.If you use them inside they are used the right way up facing inwards if out side they must be upside down facing outwards you need to get two sets and cut them to fit there are two areas to cover a small square low down on the left and another area higer up on the right they are fairly obvious from the similar pattern........my hpe has just failed its test on track rod ends and one ball joint (meaning a complete new suspension arm) at 44000km which I think is pretty poor as I might drive moderately fast but I am not THAT hard on the suspension and dear old Fiat have shut down until after 1st Jan so even if the parts are in Warrington I can't sort it until after the new year....what would one do if it was a major breakdown presumably whistle dixie(?)
