why is no one bidding,
a) you are far away from anyone on the continent
b) it is snowing everywhere in the mid & north of the continent
c) read with care/fear/trepedation: it doesn't have the lovely smooth 5cyl !
d) it isn't a Coupe or SW ( I like the Berlina as well, but the other 2 models could be "more-interesting"
e) I remember from my weak little 180 HP Integ 8V Cat that fuel consumption was ghastly; even ( I kid you not) rolling from my home hi-up in hills; when I could roll 30km down a valley, braking a lot, not accelerating & still lose 1/8 tank of fuel.
f) no cat ? = vry hard / vry expensive to register in many countries...in DE road-tax would kill its owner.
If it has a Class 1 Cat road texes would kill it owner too !
g) reregistering it (for ex in DE) = passing MOT & Emissions tests would not be cheap...even if it passed the 1st time around.
h) thecontinental Kappa demand is low to zero anyway. I receive a Kappa-for-sale in DE-offer each week (I don't know why) - I usually click it away, since the same dealers ... with non-local sounding names & dubious locations...areofferiing the same cars..."for export-only"; which means that there is no guarantee should a buyer export OR NOT EXPORT IT...again & again !
Funny, no SW & no Coupe ever pop up on the List !
i) concering winter sales prices...
6 winters ago I bought a fine but not perfect Fulvia 1.3S Cp for €2000 in late Dec. My luck is that it was located only 60km way; at an Alfa dealer, who had it on a liftr. The owner/seller was not the Alfa dealer, but a friend of that dealer. It was very cold & very snowy & no one was going to drive far to look at it in the christmas season.
Come spring it was sold.... by a member of the DE Fulvia Club. I didn't previously know this person, but he knew the person I bought it from...by phone only.
I never was told by seller why it was sold at silly-low price & I didn't ask...I only know that Alfa dealer said (10x) "this car has to get out of here before I open in Jan; I don't care what it is sold for...it has to be out of here quick !!! (was a divorce in progress; was someones wife's lawer looking for this car ?).

It was re-sold at a Spring-Time-Price that made 3 (actually 4) people happy
1) me (my wife was #4; she is no friend of such tiny cars)
2) A DE Fulvisti, who had been asked by a "wish to be" Fulvisti to source a good Fulvia...for a "modest fee"; whatever that meant ? I wasn't concerned !
3) final buyer, who I never met, nor ever heard from afterwards.

I have no idea what price it was sold to final buyer for...since there was no contract required. € traded for title ! A private seller to a private buyer.

PS: I thought I was going to keep the Cp white when I bought it...but I really didn't need another old Lancia. Do I wish I kept it ???

Truthfully ...NO, I much rather ride in my Gamma (which was a car I bought to keep) than my (other) Fulvia Coupe; except in Mountains :):), My wife agrees & everyone is happy !;)

Oh yes, buying a car in the UK means someone has to arrive in the UKK from ??? & get back to ??? invoLving time/money & "wear&tear"...on the buyer !!

I don't know the current situation, bit I'd hazard a guess that a good low-km Thema (do any exist?) would attract more interest than a good low-km Kappa & would qualify for a "Historical-Status" within a forseeable time; which Kappa would not.

Oh yes...lovely professional photo ! whwre was it taken ? oh yes, indicating the total km & no of previous owners wouldn't hurt.

You may wish to post it on lanciagammaforum.com; a lot of folks read that site !!
