Does your Fanalone have a diafragm clutch or an old fashioned one with the 9 spiral springs?

I assume that was pointed at Neil but mine is from a diaphragm clutch, is there is a different type used for the coil spring clutch? I was under the impression that they used the same bearing... I also have a S1 engine with the coil springs...

My question was indeed for Neil.
The release bearing is different for both types of clutches.

Mine's a diaphragm clutch. The release bearing looks like this:

Neil, my bearing looks identical to yours of when it's in its housing... Huib, I can't get to my S1 release bearing now, any chance of getting a pic or description of the differences?

The bearing code that I got is 6007 not 6008, the 6008 is too large, has anyone had any experience with this? S2 Coupe release bearing....
The guy at the bearing supplier says that the "sleeve" is actually part of the bearing, specially manufactured for the car. He did however say that I could knock out the "sleeve" then have machined down and pressed in to place in the new bearing...
Any thoughts?

Five years ago when I was in London, we used to buy 1600 Beta release bearings, unpick the housings and substitute the guts!
Of course I doubt that the Beta ones are available these days!
