Dear Karl Heinz,

why not indeed? I've thought of that. It's just that I have not been able to match "10mm2/sec" to anything offered for bikes. Have you used fork oil? Details? Does ist affect the old seals rear and front (reservoir).
Thanks for bringing up this matter.

Yours
Norbert

Hello Karl Heinz,

it could be that the oil for the fork of bikes is a possibility, too.
I believe that this could be a real chance to have easy the right
solution for the shock´s
But for me there wasn´t a reason to check it in detail.
Do you know somthing about the cost per liter.

best regards

Andreas

Cari Amici,

I use fork oil to top up the S/A fluid reservoir frequently, I did not get any problem during the last ten years. Recent cost was at 5.70 Euros for 500cc 10W from LiqiMoly, but I used other brands (Castrol for example) also. I don't know anything about the relation of the different unities for viscosity but in order to avoid valve failures on the S/A (that is lot of trouble) I don't use the "stiff" fork oil.
Regards, Karl Heinz.
