Miika,

I used the vacuum cylinder end cover without the gasket and set the rod length till it just touched the front circuit valve seat. Then measure the gasket thickness to determine the final adjustment. If the gasket thickness is in the 1.3 to 1.8 mm range then no further adjustment is needed. Use the lock nut./rod thread pitch to derive how much of a rod turn you need to adjust the length.

Thanks Brian! I knew there are other ways to do it. Not much else to do with it any more ( https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=5 ... hoto%2cjpg )

Thank you. At least in my unit there was some original yellow passivation left. I've been doing zinc plating and passivating job by myself using a kit from Gateros plating (http://gaterosplating.co.uk/). Would have been easier to have it done by a shop, but there's none nearby, and I just didn't feel like sending lots of small parts by post.

The air valve lid was just painted, because I didn't want to drill the rivets open, and the valve system probably wouldn't have liked the plating chemicals.

Just noticed, that I installed the filter bracket in wrong orientation. Oh well...

Dear Miika,

as already comunicated you by email, I confirm for the spring the correctness of the position that Brian indicate you. In any case, for future reference, would you find here attached a picture taken to the whole assembly of internal parts just removed from a servo unit.
I hope that this picture will be useful for other friends...

Kind regards

Giovanni
