What should the temperature be at normal running conditions on a day with +-25deg Celsius

When driving my 1.3S 'normally ' in 80° to 90° Farenheit weather the temp needle barely moves to the right. The several times I've driven hard (by my standards) I've noticed the needle settle mid dial (around 90).
There are # of Fulvia entered in the Benelux-France meet in a few weeks; I'll take a poll & get back to you with some statistics.

The thermometer needle should be a needle width over the center mark. In this country the center mark is labelled 70.
