Hello Philip,
as you already saw this is a typical "etceterini". It's very difficult to know who really made the body, but i agree with the author: the style is more Teutonic than Latin. There aren't any evidences to identify it as a Lancia car, except for the engine.
This is definitively an Aprilia engine, i'm quite sure it's a 1342cc. Unfortunately, we haven't more photos to supply my theory.
