hi all...
anyone have a lead on a vintage tire retailer/distributor? i've tried Coker Tire and although they show the tire i'm looking for is still manufactured by Michelin however they don't know when they'll get this type in. since it is still produced, perhaps someone here might know of another source.
it's a 1962 Appia Zagato Type III. the tire is Michelin 155 HR 14 XAS (14").
any info is GREATLY appreciated!

Lancia Appia tires
Re: Lancia Appia tires
I recently got a set of 155 x 14 Firestone tires from Longstone Tyres in England--they're narrow section tires and perhaps not as high performance as the much later XAS Michelin but not far from the original unavailable X Stop tires. Service was smooth, easy and fast. Shipping was by airmail.

just inquired with Longstone. of course, the michelins would be preferable but beggars can't be choosers.
we'll see what happens.
i'll keep you posted....many thanks!

Toyo offers a 155/80R14 tire rated for 190km/h. The Toyo tires are perhaps more "Michelin" than the Michelin tires themselves.
