Consumable spares for 1969 819 Flavia

I have recently bought a 1969 2000 LX carb.Can I ask what people do for air filters in particular and oil filters ? Also looking at the instruction book the coil should be on the right hand side of the engine compartment as seen from the drivers seat.Mine is tucked in behind the oil filter on the left.Any ideas ?
