That belongs to a friend of mine and lives about 10 miles away from me. It's a genuine competizione with a supercharged 1300 engine in. The owner designed and made the complete installation himself.

I'll bet it wakes up the neighbors !
Nc, if you know...
what category does it race in ?
"open rung watcha brung class ? racing 935 Porsche !
HP ? Weight ?
is it actually "street-legal" & "street-driven" or is it trailered to events ? ?

Not sure about HP and weight, but yes it's road legal and driven everywhere. Its not been on the road very long with that engine (~ 6 months) so still in the development phase I imagine.
Re: from Fulvia Bart
Why would anyone do that to a genuine Sport Competizione?

Same question here!
If I had a real Competizione, I would keep it stock (as stock can be on a highly modified car of course
)
on a regular Zag/coupé little improvements (or bigger ones) will be no issue; but not on a Competizione! :S
But: I presume all the go-faster-stuff is made on the non-original engine, so when the fun is over, he can bring it back 'originali'?!
Let's hope so!
But it's some real eyecandy!

Re: from Fulvia Bart
The original engine disappeared a long time ago (it came with a S2 1300 engine), so no harm done there. It's not everyone's cup of tea I suppose but then its not our money or effort. The owner had always had the idea of doing something like this and I guess saw this as the ideal opportunity. It's very well executed and seems to work well.

You're right: not our money/effort!
And hell yes: it looks fine!
And Yeahaaa I'm happy: it's not the stock engine!
It looks well engineered, clean and fast! Compliments to the owner-engineer!

Isnt the 1300 modified to 1400 or thereabouts as well???
I love the engineering - true Lanciaesque

one of them is - I can't remember, but he was certainly making one up to that spec.
