New Delta pics?
Re: New Delta pics?
Wow!
what a stunner! If theres a God in heaven, bring back RHD Lancia's!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: New Delta pics?
Aye, it's very nice, but...
...can I just inject some realism here? It's only a photoshop based around a Fulvia pic, the wheels and indicator repeaters give it away, with a hacked-about Stilnovo rear. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks great - but photoshops are a very different thing to reality.

Re: New Delta pics?
The second thread's pictures don't work, but the link reveals they're the same ones as originally posted - the site's down for some reason.
The other one is just a particularly bad photoshop on a Fulvia. If anything the second one (i.e. the one Philip posted) is more realistic, but hear me out - I can categorically say, there is no money, there is nothing currently happening on the project...

Oh, we can throw this into that lot too:

Nothing much to say really, apart from the fact that there is nothing, and I do mean nothing, of substance in these reports whatsoever. I hate to disappoint you, I am certainly disappointed there's nothing happening, but there is nothing remotely factual in these articles, it is pure speculation and wishful thinking. Just some journos with over-active imaginations, too much spare time, and a couple of speculative photoshops begging to be used.
You think I don't want to report good news? Nothing would please me more. I'm just trying to get the real story out so that you're not disappointed when it doesn't happen. A Delta is slated to be the next Lancia project, but it comes down to money which is the one thing Fiat doesn't have. If the 159 and Punto are absolute sales hits, then maybe a Delta will happen. Marchionne is a Lancia fan, so the will is there, and so is the engineering and design ability, the Fulvia, Stilnovo and Ypsilon Sport prove this. But the means does not exist, and that's all there is to it...

Re: New Delta pics?
Anyhow, suppose this car is due for 2007 the looks will be old fashioned by then. It's just right enough for todays standards but all the fantasy of the Stilnuovo has been scrapped wich is really sad.
As far as I can see all the fantasy that lancia can come up with since the invention of alcantara is alcantara and fake wood. Lancia should be fine engineering and discreet good taste, hard to design maybe, not easy to sell but something people remember when they get older. No rebadging please.
