My turn signal makes rev counter needle bounce

Unread post by SuperFab »

Fellow Fulvisti...I have an S3 Fulvia that runs great. It has one annoying feature, however, that I would like to try and fix. When I signal to turn either left or right, the rev counter needle starts to wave back and forth. The higher the RPM, the more it waves. Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a fix? Where do I look?

Cheers!

Seems to be a ground problem. Use an Ohmmeter and measure the resistance between the engine, chassis and body. Should be in the reagon of <1ohm. I have fitted an extra groundstrap between the gearbox and the body which cured a simular problem in my HF.
Good luck
