Fanalone for Sale

Unread post by tonykov »

After 14 years of ownership the time has come to sell my Ser 1 HF Fanalone. It is being auctioned in Sydney Australia on the 4th May. I won't be "Lancialess" as I have recently bought a very original Ser 1 1.3S coupe and a Flaminia GT. Here is a link to the auction site and by the way, the Australian dollar (aka "Pacific Peso) exchange rate is currently US .71 cents; 54 Euro cents and 48 pence Sterling.

A very nice car. I hope you get what you want for it. At those exchange rates it would be an attractive buy for someone in the UK, but given its history it would be a shame if it did go abroad.
There was a nice article about your car and you in this months viva Lancia. Good luck.

Thanks Niel, I got a real surprise when I opened my copy of Viva Lancia and saw the article on my car. I had no idea that someone had sent the story to the UK. Re my HF, I also hope that the car stays "Down Under". Given the strife in the rest of the world, I think that's what will happen.

Tony,
Best of luck with the sale. I hope you're right that it stays in Oz, and I'm glad that it won't leave you without a Lancia (or two). And you've got a drive in a Fanalone as long as I own one...
Best regards,
Ed
