ENGINE 1.2 TO 1.3 SPECS
Hello I have a question I have 1.2 Engine type 818.130 are the bore walls thick enough to bore to engine type 818.340 specs. has anyone done it before? thanks
Re: ENGINE 1.2 TO 1.3 SPECS
It was often done at the time and also recently. I have never done it myself though. Note that attachment to crankcase is different from later engines. Mating a 130 cilinder block to a later crankcase involves more work.
Re: ENGINE 1.2 TO 1.3 SPECS
If you mean to fit 77mm pistons in the 76mm bore 818.130 block it is possible. Even the largers oversize 77.6 fits. If you want to fit the 77mm cilinderblock to the 1200 cranckcase that is also possible. If you want to fit a 1300 crackshaft into a 1200 crankcase that is also possible. many options.

Re: ENGINE 1.2 TO 1.3 SPECS
I according to a U.S.A. engine expecialist, it can get 115HP To 120HP. For street performance, which if you are going to spend almost the same amount to redo ths stock 1.2 with 80HP. So yes is worth it.
