engine parts and Head porting

Unread post by João Vale »

Hello

I'm going rebuild a 1600HF engine.

I need a crankshaft. Were can I find a new one?

Another thing I'm looking for is information on head porting of a Lancia V4 engine. Are there books on the subject?

Thanks!

Hello.

A new crankshaft would be rather difficult to find. You could ask Cavalitto (ad at top of this page)...

I have a SH Fanalone crankshaft, that is still standard, but I don't really want to sell it as it is the only spare crank I have!

I know of no books specifically on modifying Fulvia engines.

I have done quite a lot of porting work on Fulvias over the years; I studied various books that cover the subject in general, a search in Amazon should help, or approach a specialist Motoring book retailer.

Meanwhile, my blog might interest you: I cannot post the address in this message as the system blocks it, but search under VAR1016
