Gentlemen,
According to some members of the Italian Forum, the NO concerning the production of the Fulvia could be changed in a MAYBE. A new hope?
A new hope?
Re: A new hope?
I would happily join the throng of 'new' Fulvia nuts, having been an 'old' one for a long time now.
Maybe Monte could line Lancia up with Ferrari and Maserati as the 3rd in the flagship 'flotilla'.
Can you envisage a small, up-market, snappy, drivers car that doesn't cost the earth to buy, insure and run on a day-to-day basis, and offers all the engineering innovation and style for which Lancia is famous.... Yeah, I've got one of the old ones, but they're very rare and precious.
We've seen and love the new prototype, now let everybody enjoy the thrill...

Re: A new hope?
Just know that that will mean that prices have to go in the direction of Ferrari/Maserati too, its not possible anymore to build cars the way Lancia did 40 years ago...
I think for a reasonable priced Fulvia it has to be based on "standard" fiat technology, and a production number at least around 20,000. It would be nice if it would be produced though.
